I took these out of the box and hiked on a rainy day in mud, rocks, and puddles for 5+ miles and they performed great, and my feet had no hot spots or blisters! The build guality impressed me. They seemed to be completely waterproof. The lace system works well. The only issue I had was the in-sole cushion. It’s pretty hard, and my feet got a little tired. This could be because I only wore thin running socks instead of thicker wool socks. I might need to try some aftermarket inserts. Overall, I felt that these boots performed as expected!
